Getting in touch

How do I contact you?

You can email us at hey@geno3.com.  We will aim to be in touch within 24 hours of receiving your email.

Is genetic testing right for me?

Am I too old?

No, you are not too old for our DNA testing. Our test can be performed at any age, as long as you are able to provide a saliva sample with the swab provided within our testing kit. The quality of your DNA does not significantly degrade with age, so older adults can still obtain accurate and reliable results from our tests.

I’ve been living with this illness for a long time, is it worth me doing genetic testing or is it too late?

Genetic testing can still provide valuable insights even after a diagnosis. While our DNA testing cannot offer a cure for existing illnesses, it can help to inform you about your own choices around personalised nutrition, toxin sensitivity, immune support, stress management, exercise optimisation, sleep, hormones, cardiovascular health and DNA protection and repair. These insights can help you make informed decisions about lifestyle changes and preventive measures to complement your current treatment plan and potentially enhance your overall well-being.

I’m an athlete, could genetic testing help me with my sports performance?

Genetic testing could potentially offer valuable insights to enhance your athletic performance (for example what your genetic ACL or hamstring injury risks are, VO2 Max trainability and  how your body reacts to different types training sessions). However, while genetic testing can provide information about your predisposition for certain athletic traits, it’s not a definitive predictor of success, it’s one tool to support your athletic goals.

If someone is very ill or has a long-term, possibly terminal diagnosis, will genetic testing help?

Genetic testing can still provide valuable insights even after a terminal diagnosis. While our DNA testing cannot offer a cure for existing illnesses, it can help to inform you about your own choices around personalised nutrition, toxin sensitivity, immune support, stress management, exercise optimisation, sleep, hormones and cardiovascular health. These insights can help you make informed decisions about lifestyle changes to complement your current treatment plan and potentially enhance your overall well-being.

We aim to offer a very personalised approach and to treat all of our clients with the utmost respect.

Is the test suitable for children?

Yes, our saliva swab allows this.

How it works.

What sample do you take? Is it a blood sample?

We use a simple, non-invasive cheek swab method for DNA testing. You don’t need to provide a blood sample. The test kit includes unique cheek swabs that are suitable for all ages. This collection method is easy, painless, and can be done at home. The patented collection vials are designed to keep the DNA sample stable for up to four years and protect it from extreme temperatures during transit.

When I have sent my sample in what happens next?

After sending your DNA sample to our lab, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Sample Processing: Your DNA is extracted and genotyped at our secure laboratory. Each sample undergoes three stages of quality assurance to ensure the most accurate results possible.
  2. Analysis and report preparation: The lab analyses your genetic data and shares the information with us. We will then use that information to create your personalised Geno 3 report based on specific genetic markers related to diet and health.
  3. Results notification: You will receive an email notification when your personalised Geno 3 report is ready and we will arrange a call with you to share your results.
  4. Results delivery: We will call at a time that suits you to discuss your results, highlight key areas and send you your full report.
