Getting in touch

How do I contact you?

You can email us at hey@geno3.com.  We will aim to respond within 24 hours and we appreciate you taking the time to reach out.

Is genetic testing right for me?

Am I too old?

No, there’s no age limit for this work.

Your DNA doesn’t meaningfully change with age, and our testing can be done at any stage of life, as long as you’re able to provide a simple saliva sample.

What matters most isn’t age, but having the clarity and support to focus on what’s most helpful now regardless of what stage or state you are in life.

I’ve been living with this illness for a long time, is it worth me doing genetic testing or is it too late?

It’s not too late.

Genetic testing can still offer useful insight even when you’ve been living with an illness for many years. While it can’t cure an existing condition, it can help clarify how your body responds to things like nutrition, stress, toxins, sleep, movement and recovery.

For many people, this kind of clarity helps them make more informed, personalised choices alongside their existing care — and focus their energy on what’s most likely to be supportive now.

I’m an athlete, could genetic testing help me with my sports performance?

Yes, it can be helpful, when used in the right way.

Genetic testing can offer insight into how your body is likely to respond to different types of training, recovery and load, as well as areas such as injury risk, endurance, and strength bias.

This information isn’t a prediction of performance or success, but it can help inform smarter training decisions and reduce unnecessary trial and error.

Used alongside good coaching and self-awareness, it can support more sustainable performance rather than pushing harder for diminishing returns.

If someone is very ill or has a long-term, possibly terminal diagnosis, will genetic testing help?

This is a deeply personal situation, and there’s no single right answer.

Genetic testing cannot change or cure a serious or terminal diagnosis. What it can sometimes offer is additional clarity about how an individual’s body responds to things like nutrition, stress, toxins, rest, and recovery.  Having more clarity about these may help support comfort, decision-making or quality of life alongside existing care.

We approach this work with care and respect and would always encourage a thoughtful conversation first to explore whether this kind of insight would be genuinely supportive in your circumstances.

Is the test suitable for children?

Yes, and we approach this with care and intention.

Our family approach is built around a simple question: what does this child need to be supported well at each stage of life?

Genetic insights don’t change with age, but how we use the information to help each person as they move through each phase in their life will change.

For children, the focus is not on prediction or diagnosis, but on understanding things like sensitivities, stress response, nutrition, sleep, and environmental factors.

All in ways that are appropriate for their developmental stage. As children grow, the same genetic information can be revisited and reinterpreted to support different phases of life, from early development through adolescence and beyond.

We’ve built Geno 3 to support families over time, not just at one moment.

How it works.

What sample do you take? Is it a blood sample?

No, we don’t use blood samples.

Geno 3 uses a simple, non-invasive cheek swab to collect DNA. The sample is painless, easy to take and can be done at home.

This method is suitable for all ages, including children.

Once collected, the sample is securely stored and remains stable during transport, so there’s no need for special handling or clinic visits.

When I have sent my sample in what happens next?

Once your sample arrives at the lab, it’s processed securely and carefully to ensure accurate results.

When the analysis is complete, we interpret your genetic information through the Geno 3 lens.  We focusing on what matters most for your health right now, rather than overwhelming you with detail.

You’ll be notified when your report is ready, and we’ll arrange a time to talk it through together.

During that conversation, we’ll explain the key insights, answer your questions and share your full report so you can take it away with clarity and confidence.

What is included in the Geno 3 report?

Your Geno 3 report brings together your genetic insights and lived health information into a clear, personalised overview.

It highlights:

  • The key patterns most likely influencing how you feel.

  • What matters most now, and what can wait.

  • Practical, manageable areas to focus on across things like nutrition, recovery, stress, and environment.

The aim isn’t to give you more information, but to give you clarity — so you know where to direct your time and energy.

If you’d like more detail on how we build the report, you can explore our How it works page.

How do I collect a DNA sample using the swab?

Collecting your sample is simple and designed to be as easy and stress-free as possible.

Your test kit includes clear instructions and the process involves gently swabbing the inside of your cheek. It’s non-invasive, painless, and can be done at home in just a few minutes.

If you’d find it helpful, we also provide a short video guide that walks you through the process step by step, so you can feel confident you’re doing it correctly.

How many genes do you test?

We analyse genetic markers across 95 clinically researched genes that are relevant to health, resilience and how the body responds to its environment.

Rather than testing as many genes as possible, we focus on markers that are well-established and meaningful.

The emphasis is on careful interpretation and prioritisation, helping you understand what matters most, rather than being left with a large volume of data.

The value of Geno 3 isn’t in the size of the dataset, but in how that information is filtered, connected and made useful for your life.

Timing and delivery.

How long does it take to get my test results back?

We aim to have your Geno 3 report ready within around two weeks of the lab receiving your DNA sample.

We’ll keep you informed along the way and let you know as soon as your report is ready to be discussed.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the USA and Australia.

If you’re based elsewhere, please get in touch and we’ll let you know whether shipping to your country can be arranged.

Report contents and analysis

Does your genetic test show APOE status?

Yes, our testing includes APOE status.

APOE is one of many genetic factors that can influence how the body responds to things like inflammation, metabolism, and neurological health.

It’s important to understand that APOE is not a diagnosis or a prediction, but one piece of a much bigger picture.

When we include APOE in a Geno 3 report, it’s always interpreted in context, alongside other genetic markers, lifestyle factors and lived health experience.  That way the information is used thoughtfully and constructively, rather than in isolation.

From the DNA results, are you able to help an individual with specific health goals? For example sport performance, menopausal symptoms or stress reduction??

Yes.

Your genetic insights are always interpreted in the context of what you’re trying to support right now. Whether your focus is performance, hormonal changes, stress resilience, recovery or overall wellbeing, we use your results to help clarify which areas are most relevant and worth your attention.

For those who want additional support, we also offer one-to-one and small group programmes to help translate insight into practical, sustainable change.

These are optional and designed to meet people where they are, rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all approach.

Please send us an email at hey@geno3.com if you would like more information for yourself, your family or your community.

Is there advice in the reports on what diet to follow and supplements people could consider?

Yes, with care and context.

Your report includes personalised insights around nutrition and nutrient needs, based on how your body is likely to respond rather than one fixed diet approach.

Where appropriate, we also highlight areas where certain nutrients may be more relevant for you and share evidence-based information to support informed choices.

We don’t prescribe rigid diets or supplement protocols. The aim is to provide clarity and direction, so you can make decisions that fit your body, your life and any existing care you’re receiving.

Cost.

How much does it cost?

Data and privacy

Can you delete all of my customer data after I receive my report?

Yes. Your data remains yours.

If you’d like us to delete your information after you’ve received your report, you can let us know and we’ll take care of it. This includes deleting your personal data and, if you wish, arranging for your DNA sample to be destroyed.

We’re committed to handling all data with care and respect, and we’ll clearly explain the process so you know exactly what’s been removed.

Lab certification and quality.

Where is the lab?

DNA samples are processed at a certified laboratory in the United States (CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) and CAP (College of American Pathologists) certified).

The lab meets recognised clinical and quality standards and follows strict protocols for accuracy, privacy, and data security.

Your sample is handled carefully and confidentially throughout the process.

Refunds and policies.

What is your refund policy?

If you’ve purchased a Geno 3 DNA kit and report, we offer a full refund provided the kit remains unopened and has not been sent to the lab, within 30 days of purchase.

Once a sample has been submitted to the laboratory or processing has begun, we’re unable to offer a refund, as costs are incurred at that point.

If you’re unsure before purchasing, we encourage you to get in touch first,  we’re always happy to help you decide whether Geno 3 feels like the right fit.
